Court remands two suspects in the firing case outside Salman Khan's residence for four days, awaiting further investigation into the incident.

New Delhi: In recent developments surrounding the firing incident outside the residence of Bollywood icon Salman Khan in New Delhi, law enforcement has unveiled crucial details shedding light on the case. Police have apprehended several individuals suspected of facilitating the shooters by providing them with firearms. These arrests mark a significant step forward in the ongoing investigation.

The arrested suspects were brought before the court on Friday for further legal proceedings. Upon presenting the evidence, the court deemed it necessary to remand the suspects in police custody for four days. This decision allows authorities ample time to conduct thorough interrogations and gather additional evidence pertinent to the case.

During the investigation, law enforcement authorities have made noteworthy disclosures, indicating the complexity of the situation. They expressed optimism that through diligent questioning of the apprehended suspects, they may ultimately uncover the masterminds behind the incident.

In court, the police presented compelling evidence against the accused individuals, namely Sony Kumar Vishnoi and Anuj Thapan. Allegedly, these individuals facilitated the shooters by providing them with firearms and ammunition upon their arrival in Panvel on March 15. Furthermore, the police possess recordings of conversations between the suspects and the shooters, further corroborating their involvement in the incident.

However, during the court proceedings, defense counsel Ajay Dubey raised objections, disputing the police's claims. He argued that the SIM cards mentioned by the authorities were not registered in the accused's names and refuted allegations of their involvement in supplying weapons. Dubey contended that the police were attempting to frame his clients.

Despite these objections, the police maintain that both suspects have ties to the Lawrence Vishnoi gang, a notorious criminal organization. Additionally, Anuj Thapan is facing charges related to three separate incidents of attempted extortion and murder.
