BSE Sensex jumped 245.86 points to 67,466.99, and NSE Nifty closed at 20,070 points for the first time with a gain of 76.80 points. Earlier, Nifty crossed the 20,000 mark for the first time during trading on Monday and reached a new record high of 20,008.15 points. However, the index of 50 shares closed at the level of 19996.35. The previous all-time high of Nifty was 19,991.85, which the index reached on July 20 this year. Thus, after 36 sessions, Nifty once again reached a new high. The Sensex had reached its all-time high of 67619.17 on July 20 this year.
