NIA raids locations of other organizations linked to PFI in many districts of UP

The NIA team has been conducting raids along with paramilitary forces and women policemen since 5 a.m. on Wednesday. Apart from Lucknow, there is information about attacks in Barabanki, Bahraich, Sitapur and Hardoi.

NIA raided the locations of other organisations linked to PFI at many places in UP. NIA investigated three houses in the same locality in the Badi Pakaria area of Madeganj in Lucknow. The NIA team has been conducting raids along with paramilitary forces and women policemen since 5 a.m. on Wednesday. Apart from Lucknow, there is information about attacks in Barabanki, Bahraich, Sitapur and Hardoi. NIA conducted a raid in Mahmudabad tehsil of Sitapur district on Wednesday morning. The officers who arrived on Wednesday morning in two vehicles are scanning the links of the network related to PFI.

The locations where raids were conducted on Wednesday were mobilising youth to carry out anti-national activities despite the ban on PFI. Apart from Lucknow, NIA and ATS have already arrested active members of PFI in Barabanki and Bahraich. These include the state president of PFI, and members found involved in the Delhi riots. All the investigating agencies, including NIA, are now keeping a close watch on the activities of PFI's associate organisations like CFI, women's wing and political faces of SDPI.
