Attention everyone! The government schools in Delhi are about to start their admission process for 10th and 12th grades. If you or someone you know wants to apply, the forms will be available on the official website of the Directorate of Education starting tomorrow.
Delhi Government Schools Admissions: The Delhi Directorate of Education has recently announced the schedule for admission to classes 10 and 12 in government schools of the capital. The examination for admission will take place on May 9, while the forms for admission will be available from April 18 to April 30. The admit card will be provided to the students on May 7 from the school where they have applied for admission. To apply, students can take a printout of the form from the official website of the Directorate and submit it to the school.
The admission test will be held on May 9 from 10 am to 12 noon, and the result will be declared on May 14. All the students' admission files will be submitted to the office of the Deputy Director of Education (DDE) by May 21.
In order to enter 10th grade, a student needs to have completed 9th grade from an officially recognized school.
Parents who want to enroll their children in schools in Delhi should note that the Government Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence are currently waiting to accept new admissions. However, parents can download the enrollment form from the Directorate of Education website and submit it to any other school they prefer.
