Former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, campaigning for his son Karan Bhushan Singh in Kaiserganj after being denied a ticket, expressed his continued dedication to public service. At a public meeting in Paraspur town, he declared, "I haven't grown old or retired. I am now free to fight for the people's needs."
Emphasizing his commitment, Singh stated, "I will be twice as present among you as before, ready to support you in joy and sorrow and address your concerns. There's much work ahead, from infrastructure to addressing agricultural issues."
Asserting his renewed vigour, he proclaimed, "I am now like a free bull, ready to fight for you. No obstacle will deter me from serving you. Expect even more dedication from me."
Singh highlighted the generational continuity in leadership, noting that both he and his son are becoming MPs at the age of 33, signalling a transition to younger leadership in Kaiserganj. His speech resonated with supporters, evident from the enthusiastic applause.
While facing allegations, Singh's BJP ticket was revoked, and the candidacy was passed to his son. However, Singh remains influential in Kaiserganj politics, where his son competes against SP's Rambhagat Mishra and BSP's Narendra Pandey. Singh's past electoral successes underscore his enduring popularity in the constituency.
