On the anniversary of the Kakori train action, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the Kakori Shaheed Smarak and paid tributes to the martyrs by garlanding the statues installed in the Shaheed Mandir. He called upon the people associated with the program to stand at their places and bow down to their soil, take selfies, and upload them.
On this occasion, he administered the oath of Panch Pran as told by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the people attending the program. He said that today is also the anniversary of the Quit India Movement, and other historical events are remembered today. Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign is being started by joining the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence on the call of the Prime Minister.
