These protests were so widespread that the whole of Israel appeared divided into two factions. The controversy regarding this had increased so much that Israel's Defense Minister had talked about resigning and also warned that due to these protests, division is taking place in the society, and this may affect the security of the country. Despite this, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not agree. For the past several months, Israel's politics has been affected by this dispute and due to this the security system has also weakened because top leaders and officials were busy in resolving this dispute. Due to this, many important security meetings could not be held. Terrorists took advantage of this internal politics and carried out one of the most significant attacks in the history of Israel.

The Israeli army did not reach the spot for several hours.

Professor Jangid said that Israel does not have a traditional army like India, but the ordinary people there voluntarily serve in the military from time to time. When the society got divided on the issue of the judiciary, it also affected the military there.
