Despite meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, he reiterated that there's no alliance with the BJP. Raja Bhaiya emphasized, "We're neither contesting nor endorsing any party. We've previously participated in elections, winning at the local level, but our past attempts at the Lok Sabha were unsuccessful. Hence, we've decided to stay independent this time, a decision we stand by with unwavering commitment.
When questioned about his meeting with Amit Shah, Raja Bhaiya declined to disclose the specifics, stating, "The meeting was significant, but I prefer not to divulge its details publicly." This meeting had sparked speculation about his potential support for the BJP.
Addressing accusations of clandestinely supporting the Samajwadi Party, Raja Bhaiya asserted his transparency, stating, "I don't backtrack on my commitments. If I were to support anyone, I'd do so openly. Instead, I've urged everyone to vote according to their conscience."
Highlighting the significance of his party, Jansatta Dal, Raja Bhaiya stated, "Despite not forming alliances, our party has achieved electoral success independently. We've secured victories in Pratapgarh, demonstrating our strength in the UP Legislature, surpassing even major parties like Congress and BSP."
On the subject of potential alliances, Raja Bhaiya affirmed, "If we decide to ally, we'll honour its principles. While we previously supported BJP unconditionally, our stance has now changed for this election."
Regarding the characterization of his constituency as a "goon stronghold," Raja Bhaiya refuted the claim, stating, "It's unfair to label me as such. I confronted a prominent leader who made such allegations, and he expressed regret afterwards."
Addressing rumours about keeping crocodiles in his pond, Raja Bhaiya dismissed them as myths, emphasizing his commitment to public service and community welfare. He expressed admiration for leaders like Chandrashekhar and Narendra Modi, praising their leadership qualities and decision-making abilities. However, he reiterated his party's independent stance and the need to make decisions accordingly, a testament to his dedication to public service and the welfare of his constituents.
